East Ridge School House, East Ridge Road, Cathance Township (formerly Plantation 14), Maine. Ingrid Jamieson of Edmunds was the last teacher at this school that closed in the early 1960's.
A schoolhouse was located on this stretch of the East Ridge Road for students from Plantation 14, now Cathance Township, living on or near the East Ridge Road. When the Edmunds Consolidated school opened in 1952, the East Ridge School was closed and the elementary students began attending the new Edmunds school.
