Tufts of grass mark the location of two boarding houses operated by J. York, at the junction of the Crossroad and U.S. Route 1, Dennysville, Maine. They were used by mill workers on this site in Lower Dennysville.
Two boarding houses were operated here by the York family for workers in the nearby Lyons Brothers Mill on Wilson's Stream around 1900.
