A local plumbing and heating business expanded to deliver home heating fuel during the first decade of the 21st century, under the name Eastern Plumbing and Heating. In the spring of 2023 the family-run operation was purchased by a Machias-based company begun by one-time Dennysville resident Robert Foster.
