"Ranger" a ship of 110 tons, was launched, having been built near Dock Bridge by Otis Lincoln of Township I for General Lincoln. The first vessel of the township and its cargo of lumber were sold in Boston. The 1860 map shows a shipyard on the Lincoln or Narrows Road (Foster Lane) as the Kilby and Allan yard, owned by brothers-in-law John Kilby and John Allan.
