The Reverend Roland Hankin stands with this first Boy Scout Troop formed in Dennysville, Maine, c. 1915. Mr. Hankin was the Pastor of the Dennysville Congregational Church from 1915 until he moved to the West Coast of the United States in 1920. The Reverend Hankin was from England, where he had Baden Powell, the founder of the Boy Scout movement, as his Scoutmaster.
