Meddybemps, Maine Blueberry Barrens and Delta

Famous glacial delta 232 feet above sea level, it is the terminus of the esker that originates near Houlton, Maine. A gravel deposit here has been a source of blueberries for many generations, from Wabanaki times to the present commercial operations.
