    A 32 page booklet in nine chapters recalling the childhood years of Ellen Lincoln on the Lincoln Farm from 1906 to 1919, written as a memoir for her family and privately printed in 1989.

    This well written and delightfully informative account of growing up on the outskirts of Dennysville, Maine is full of details of family life, schooldays, farm life, washing and household chores, special events month by month including Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, family pets, neighbors and health. This was a gift from Ellen's daughter Priscilla Swanson in 2024.
