Solomon Foster House, Dennysville, Maine
Photograph
1960's view of the Solomon Foster House, The Lane, Dennysville, Maine, built in the 1830's on the The Lane in Dennysville, by Solomon Foster and his wife Elizabeth (Wilder), across the road from Wilder's Inn, operated by her parents.
When Ebenezer C. Wilder's daughter Elizabeth married Solomon Foster, they built this house across from her father on The Lane in the 1830's. The Solomon Foster residence eventually became the property of John Tuell; his son, Roy Tuell: and his granddaughter Geneva (Tuell) and her husband, John Longmore. The property was acquired by Sammy Seavey and his wife Brenda, who operated a carpentry shop in a barn on the premises.
