Bela R. Reynolds house at the end of the Narrows Road, now called Foster Lane.
Bela R. Reynolds operated the packet boat to Eastport from a wharf at the foot of his property, and the Packet Wharf at the town (Lincoln's) dock. He was married to Deborah, daughter of Ebenezer C. Wilder C., who lived with him in their house at the end of the Narrows Road, as Foster Lane was originally called. Rebecca Hobart writes in her history of Dennysville and Edmunds: "Starting in 1821, in an open 20 foot boat, he continued his service, using larger boats in later years, until he drowned a few feet from his own wharf, on May 3, 1853."
