Photograph
Unidentified members of the Gardner family and others at the Hurley Point house, various dates from 1910-1940.
Hurley Point peninsula in Dennys Bay has been the site of human habitation from ancestral Passamaquoddy times to the present day. Hurley Point was a favorite picnic spot in the late 19th and 20th centuries. For much of the twentieth century a farm owned by members of the Gardner family has been the focus of such social gatherings.
