The Practice of Christian Perfection [title translated], Paris, 1742
Book
An influential religious text by the Spanish Jesuit was first published in Seville in 1609, and translated into French over sixty editions in seven different translations, notably by Abbe Regnier des Marais.
This is the first of a four volume set purchased from the Passamaquoddy community at Pleasant Point. The cover indicates it was owned and used by a priest, Louis Jean Desjardin.
