Solomon Foster House, The Lane, Dennysville, Maine
Photograph
The Solomon Foster House was built on The Lane in Dennysville the 1830's.
When Ebenezer C. Wilder's daughter Elizabeth married Solomon Foster, they built this house across from her father on The Lane in the 1830's. The Solomon Foster residence eventually became the property of John Tuell; his son, Roy Tuell; and his granddaughter Geneva (Tuell) and her husband, John Longmore. The property was acquired by Sammy Seavey and his wife Brenda, who operated a carpentry shop in a barn on the premises.
