The Amasa Cook House, built in 1850 on King Street, Dennysville, Maine
One of the King Street houses that did not belong to a "family" as do most of the older houses in Dennysville, was the home of Amasa Cook, later occupied by Joel W. Cook. After two generations of Cooks, the residence was occupied by several families, including Howard and Ida (Burns) Philbrook, before being purchased by Raymond and Eleanor (Pine) Curtis, whose three children grew up there.
