Postcard
Photograph of the Edmunds Methodist Church on the corner of the Preston and River Roads, by the Lower Bridge, in Edmunds, Maine.
Rebecca W. Hobart writes in "Dennysville 1786-1986 . . . and Edmunds, too!" (p. 99): " The Methodist meeting house was built in 1841 on the corner by the Lower Bridge. At least fourteen pastors served the church from 1857 until the 1920's, residing with their families in the parsonage which was the second house from the Upper Bridge on the Edmunds side of the river. The church, which was having occasional supply minsters in the 1930's. closed within a few years."
