Lincoln Sprague's Barn, Edmunds, Maine
Photograph
This barn was moved to this site by Lincoln "Linc" Sprague in the early 1900's, beside the house built by Thomas Eastman, Jr., before 1861 on the Preston Road in Edmunds, Maine. Painted red, it later became an antiques barn, operated by Elsa Chubbuck who, with her husband Daniel, owned the property which they called the Heritage House. The old farmhouse next to the barn burned in the late 1980's.
