Several views of the Henry A.M. Jones house located near the site of the Town School and Congregational Meetinghouse on King Street, in Dennysville Maine. At one time, the Capt. John Smith tavern operated on the far side of the house, where the Lincoln Memorial Library is now stands.
Three of the houses on King Street belonged to the Joneses, all three sons of Benjamin R. Jones, who first lived in Edmunds, and then moved to Dennysville into the next to the last house on Lincoln (or Narrows) Road--now Foster Lane. Henry A.M. Jones occupied this small house on King Street between that of Capt. John Smith, where the Lincoln Library now stands, and that of Thomas Eastman Jr., (later Daniel K. Eastman). He first married Eleanor Sherman, and second Agnes Hewes, and had seven children by his second wife. A daughter, Hattie, remained in the family home until she died in 1941. The house later became the home of Lewis (son of Carl and Eliza) Lyons and his wife, Ruth.
